It has taken 5 years since the BT language was established in September 2019. After continuous code optimization and kernel rewriting, it has finally reached a new milestone. Friends who know me know very well that this was developed in their spare time. Due to personal reasons, I had no energy to maintain or promote it, otherwise it would be impossible to choose to develop BT in my spare time.
After careful consideration, BT is our Chinese programming language and needs to have comprehensive development documents and tutorials. This requires an official website to provide help to developers, which requires registering a domain name. I first registered a .wang domain name. The full domain name is: bts.wang, because bts is my favorite, and the semantics of bts are BT Script. However, the .wang domain name is not common, so I finally gave up (losing 189 yuan).
Then I referred to the official website of rust and decided to use btlang as the name. Due to the strong patriotic spirit, I considered using btlang.cn. The main reason was that the com domain name was too expensive, so I did not consider it. Although it is very well-known, the com domain name has become more and more expensive in the past few years, and the cn domain name feels more suitable and the cost is very cheap, so the cn domain name became the object of consideration.
However, when I was struggling to buy the cn domain name, I still searched the official websites of other programming languages, especially the rust official website developed based on the native language Rust. www.rust-lang.com] will automatically jump to www.rust-lang.org after opening it. This makes me a little confused as to why I use the org domain name, because this domain name is not easy to pronounce for me from beginning to end.
But when I searched for other programming languages, I was completely shocked! ! ! As shown below, this is the most popular programming language of the year (some programming languages do not have official websites and are not listed):

At this point, based on this entangled heart, I purchased the org domain name. Due to domestic policy reasons, org registration is not provided, so I was forced to choose to purchase a foreign server again. At this point, this official website has finally been built, completely written and driven by BT language.
