# process.child_running

## Function

Determine whether the current Process object saves the child process handle.

## Syntax

```bt
process(program).child_running()
```

## Parameters

No parameters.

## Return value

| Type | Description |
| ------ | ------ |
| Bool | Returns true if a child process handle exists, false otherwise. |

## Example

```bt
cmd = process('cmd')
result = cmd.child_running()

// Output: false
print result
```

## Notes

- This method only checks whether the handle exists, not whether the process is still running.
