# Math.exp ## Function natural index. Returns e raised to the power of value. ## Syntax ```bt Math.exp(value) ``` ## Parameters | Parameters | Type | Required | Default value | Description | | ------ | ------ | ------ | ------ | ------ | | value | Number | Yes | None | Exponent. | ## Return value | Type | Description | | ------ | ------ | | Int/Float | Returns e raised to the power of value. An Int is returned for integer results, and a Float for non-integer or non-finite results. | ## Example ```bt result = Math.exp(1) // Output: 2.718281828459045 print result ``` ## Notes - Equivalent to e^value.
