# bytes.to_array

## Function

Convert Bytes to a byte integer array.

## Syntax

```bt
bytes(value).to_array()
```

## Parameters

No parameters.

## Return value

| Type | Description |
|------|------|
| Array | Each element is an Int from 0 to 255. |

## Code Example

```bt
data = bytes('BT')
arr = data.to_array()

// Output: 66
print arr[0]
```

## Notes

- `to_array()` will allocate arrays; the hot path will first transfer Bytes directly.
